Chittagong: June 25, 2006: CSE President Mr. MKM Mohiuddin in his strong message towards CSE officials said, “ A strong restless desire needs from you in future to uphold CSE benchmark”
Recalling the success story of most essential infrastructures led by CSE, he said, we have introduced Automated trading system first ever in the country, a regional platform “SAFE” for cross-border trading and mutual co-operation, Internet Trading Service for NRB’s and foreign investors, Mobile Stock Service, Introducing OTC market and many other developments for our investors. These all achievements have been successfully completed only by virtue of your dedicated contribution, hard work, and transparency, he added.
Now we have to forecast for many other developments such as Electronic Fund Transfer facility for the investors, new products for market like derivatives, options etc, effective investors awareness program, close interaction with the non active members, monitoring corporate governance guidelines etc.
Mr. Nasiruddin Ahmed Chowdhury, First Vice President in his remarks said, CSE officials have good reputation and proved their efficiency in their activities. It is our responsibility to encourage for their work and provide recognition. He said, as CSE presently a geographical neutral organization, every corner in Bangladesh should reach their efforts to ensure facilities of share trading.
Mr. AB Siddique, Chief Executive Officer while giving thanks to the CSE Board, said, whenever we sought cooperation, CSE Board done so and maintains less influence towards CSE Secretariat on our decision. He expressed satisfaction on Board’s non-interference.
Mr. Bijan Chokroborty, Mr. ASM Shahidullah from CSE Directors were present in the meeting.
