Chittagong, 19th May, 2006: IDLC of Bangladesh Ltd. has commenced its Merchant Banking Branch in Chittagong with the launching of its “ Cap Invest”- a highly customized non-discretionary investment account. The inaugural ceremony was held at the Chittagong Branch of IDLC on 19th May 2006.
Mr. Mirza Salman Ispahani, Past President of the Chittagong Stock Exchange was present at the ceremony as the Chief Guest. Anis A Khan, CEO & Managing Director of IDLC welcomed the distinguished guests and introduced the long cherished investment product and also explained IDLC’s long term vision on its capital market operations. Mr. Mirza Salman Ispahani, Alhaj Sufi Md. Mizanur Rahman, Chairman of PHP Group and Nasiruddin Ahmed Chowdhury, Vice President of Chittagong Stock Exchange spoke on the occasion and wished success to the IDLC Merchant Banking Branch in Chittagong. A large number of capital market participants, IDLC customers and eminent personalities of Chittagong were present and took great interest in the forthcoming “Cap Invest” services of IDLC.
