Chittagong Stock Exchange is in favour of Sunday as weekly holiday

A press release given by MKM Mohiuddin, President of Chittagong Stock Exchange Ltd have stated that the Board of Directors of CSE in its meeting held on January 31, 2007 have decided to make a request to the Caretaker Government of Bangladesh to declare Sunday as the weekly holiday in line with the most countries of the world. CSE states that this will facilitate financial transaction and prompt settlement or inter country payments and will also greatly contribute in enhancing business communications with international communities without missing trading days. CSE hope that the present Caretaker Government will take such decision sooner the later.
