Chittagong, May 9, 2006: S Alam Cold Rolled Steels gets nod from CSE Board for listing in Chittagong Stock Exchange. The listing committee of CSE after scrutinizing the documents forwarded listing application to the CSE Board and Board approved S Alam for listing in CSE on 8th May, 2006.
The Share trading of S Alam under category A will be debuted in CSE as soon as Dhaka Stock Exchange approves listing.
The lottery for its share
allotment was held on March 30.
A total of 85,170 local applicants, with an amount of over Tk 425.85 million
(42.585 crore), had applied for its initial general public offering (IPO) subscription,
during the period of February 19-26.
S Alam Cold Rolled Steels Ltd. offered a total of 1,200,000 shares, with the
offer price of Tk 100 per share for the general investors.
It is the third manufacturing company in the stock market since 2004. Summit
Power Ltd. and Berger Paints Bangladesh Ltd. were the earlier manufacturing
companies came into the stock market. S Alam Cold Rolled Steels is the 212th
listed company of CSE.
