The Index Committee of Chittagong Stock Exchange revised the composition of its CSE 30 Index effective from next Sunday 9th April, 2006. The following scrips are in CSE-30 Index:
Square Textiles Ltd., Padma Textiles Ltd., Square Pharmaceuticals Ltd., ACI, Beximco Pharmaceutical Ltd., Keya Cosmetics Ltd., Agricultural Marketing Co. Ltd., Confidence Cement Ltd., Singer Bangladesh Ltd, Aftab Automobiles Ltd., Bata Shoe Company (BD) Ltd., Miracle Industries Ltd., BOC Bangladesh Ltd., Uttara Bank Ltd., Pubali Bank Ltd, The City Bank Ltd, Prime Bank Ltd., Dhaka Bank Ltd., EXIM Bank Ltd., National Bank Ltd., Southeast Bank Ltd., Eastern Bank Ltd., National Credit and Commerce Bank Ltd., Islami Bank Bank Bangladesh Ltd,, Monno Ceramic Industries Ltd., Bangladesh Online Ltd., Uttara Finance & Investment Ltd., Usmania Glass Sheet Factory Ltd., British American Tobacco and Beximco Ltd.
The above 30 companies’ paid up capital is holding 28.29% share of the total paid up capital of CSEs 213 scrips and the share of market capital is holding by 50.22%.
